This senior technical position covers commercial and industrial HVAC/R maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and optimization across client sites. You will work with rooftop units, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, VRF systems, and refrigeration equipment. The work also includes client communication, emergency response, documentation, and technical guidance during complex service activities. Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose HVAC controls, electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration problems Monitor equipment performance and recommend repairs or replacements Perform preventive maintenance and seasonal HVAC changeovers Communicate equipment conditions and recommendations to clients Complete CMMS work orders and preventive maintenance records Requirements:
Seven or more years of commercial HVAC service experience Strong knowledge of HVAC controls and energy management principles Experience with institutional, healthcare, commercial, industrial, or government facilities Licensed Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic 313A Gas Technician 2, Ozone Depletion Prevention, and Class G licence Bring refrigeration, HVAC controls, and CMMS experience to Dexterra Group’s technical service work across critical client environments.
