Horizon North Rentals & Logistics, part of Dexterra Group, coordinates transportation for modular buildings, matting, equipment, and oilfield and mining supplies. As a Class 1 Driver, you will support safe, reliable, on-schedule deliveries across outdoor terrain and varying weather conditions. The work requires regulatory compliance, accurate documentation, and communication with crews and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee cargo handling and secure equipment loads
- Operate various trucks across outdoor terrain
- Attend pre-job safety meetings and inspect emergency equipment
- Complete daily logs, inspection logs, and required forms
- Consult supervisors about operational deficiencies
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Driver's license
- Minimum four to five years of winch experience
- Air Brake endorsement (Z)
- Defensive driving course and lowbed experience
- Valid H2S and Standard First Aid
