Location: Various locations across Alberta
RadiologicTechnologists perform imaging examinations, such as X-rays, to assist indiagnosing and treating patients.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Prepare and positionpatients for imaging procedures.
- Operate radiographic equipmentand ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain patient records andensure proper documentation of procedures.
- Collaborate withradiologists and healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
- Monitor and maintain imaging equipment to ensureproper functioning.
Requirements
- Associate's degree inRadiologic Technology or a related field.
- Certification from theAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- Strong technical skills andattention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
