This Buyer/Planner executes daily procurement operations across raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and production supplies. You will coordinate suppliers, monitor deliveries, and resolve discrepancies. The work connects production planning, operations, warehousing, quality, commercialization, and procurement leadership to manage supply risks and inventory decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, issue, confirm, update, and maintain purchase orders
- Track open orders and verify delivery dates and quantities
- Resolve pricing discrepancies, order changes, and documentation gaps
- Identify delays, shortages, quality issues, and allocation constraints
- Align material availability with production requirements across teams
Requirements:
- Two or more years in purchasing, planning, or procurement operations
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Purchase order management and inventory planning knowledge
- ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an asset
- Microsoft Excel, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
