The Dental Assistant prepares treatment rooms, assists dentists and hygienists, takes digital images, and maintains patient records. You will also contribute to scheduling, patient education, infection control, and efficient team-based care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
- Assist dentists and hygienists while maintaining patient comfort
- Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
- Sterilize instruments and follow IPAC infection control standards
- Update charts and provide oral hygiene education
Requirements:
- Registration or certification with a provincial regulatory body required
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
