This part time Sterilization Technician position supports Vic West Dentistry's clinical team. You will clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments while following IPAC standards and provincial regulations. The work also includes equipment monitoring, documentation, accurate records, and maintaining an organized reprocessing area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, package, sterilize, and store dental instruments
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment
- Complete required testing and documentation
- Maintain records supporting compliance and audit readiness
- Report issues and support efficient patient flow
Requirements:
- Previous clinical sterilization experience considered an asset
- Accredited Dental Assisting program completion preferred
- Medical Device Reprocessing Technician program completion preferred
- IPAC experience considered an asset
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
