As a Dental Assistant, you will prepare clinical environments and assist dentists and hygienists throughout treatment. Your responsibilities include taking digital images, sterilizing instruments under IPAC standards, and maintaining infection control. You will also update charts, support patient flow, and follow privacy and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform instrument sterilization and infection control under IPAC standards
- Prepare clean, safe treatment rooms for procedures
- Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
- Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments
- Follow privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
- Registered or certified Dental Assistant required
- Provincial regulatory body or association registration required
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
