Initially starting at our Saskatoon office, this role offers a transition to a 2-week rotational position on-site. Candidates must have a Journeyperson Certificate and over ten years of industrial experience in refrigeration systems, including ammonia systems. Contributing to operating procedure development is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate freeze plant refrigeration and distribution modules
- Lead maintenance efforts for refrigeration infrastructure
- Design preventative maintenance schedules and plans
- Monitor system performance indicators diligently
- Conduct timely responses to equipment alarms
Requirements:
- Journeyperson Certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
- 10+ years within industrial refrigeration
- Familiarity with large ammonia compressor systems
- Experience with control systems like DCS, SCADA
- Ground freezing experience is advantageous
