The Solution Development Engineer develops Lifecycle Solutions and Services contracts alongside Modernizations & Upgrades projects. You will assess customer needs, define requirements, and prepare scopes, concepts, staffing assumptions, and cost estimates. The work involves Sales, Operations, engineering teams, subject matter experts, and customers throughout proposal development. Key Responsibilities:
Develop service contract and modernization solutions Review customer specifications, requirements, and site information Build scopes, designs, estimates, and costing workbooks Coordinate proposal inputs, schedules, and status reporting Facilitate awarded-scope handoffs to Operations teams Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field Typically three to five years of related experience Knowledge of material handling, controls, software, and proposals Strong communication, leadership, organization, and collaboration skills Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency; approximately 20% travel Apply solution development, proposal leadership, and estimating skills to advance Dematic customer solutions from request through Operations handoff.
