Engineer products built for pressures up to 15,000 psi and temperatures reaching 150° C at DarkVision’s North Vancouver headquarters. DarkVision seeks a Mechanical Engineer to solve demanding design problems for ultrasonic imaging technologies. You will work with pressure vessels, sensitive electronics, sensor carriers, dynamic structures, and fluid systems. The position covers design, analysis, testing, and scaled manufacturing handoff. Key Responsibilities:
Develop designs for high-pressure mechanical assemblies Evaluate system viability and performance through calculations Gather cross-functional requirements and communicate tradeoffs Coordinate custom and off-the-shelf component sourcing Travel occasionally for field testing and commissioning Requirements:
University degree in a specified engineering discipline Minimum two years as a mechanical design engineer Experience creating toleranced drawings for custom fabrication Vendor experience procuring custom mechanical parts Experience designing electromechanical assemblies and thermal management Apply mechanical design, pressure-system, and cross-functional engineering skills to DarkVision’s demanding industrial imaging products.
