As Staff Scientist COE, Proteomics, you will deliver customer-facing demonstrations and provide scientific leadership to global application teams. You will develop reproducible methods, controlled documentation, benchmark studies, and reference data. The work translates customer evaluations and emerging science into actionable product feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute advanced omics demonstrations on SCIEX mass spectrometry platforms
- Develop and validate methods, SOPs, benchmarks, and reference data
- Establish workflow protocols, configurations, quality standards, and acceptance criteria
- Coach global scientists through troubleshooting and best-practice sharing
- Translate evaluations into application insights and product requirements
Requirements:
- Proteomics experience with qualifying scientific degree and relevant experience
- Hands-on liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry workflow experience
- Experience with complex biological samples and method troubleshooting
- Customer-facing scientific demonstration or technical presentation experience
- Controlled documentation and distributed stakeholder collaboration experience
