Own B2B conference operations at Cube Business Media, coordinating logistics, sponsors, speakers, and attendees across annual Canadian events.
As Event Manager for The Business Transitions Forum, you will manage conferences from venue planning through post-show reporting. Your work spans project milestones, supplier coordination, registration, stakeholder communications, and on-site execution. You will collaborate with Program & Content, Marketing, and Sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own workback schedules, milestones, meetings, and post-show debriefs
- Fulfill sponsor deliverables and maintain accurate CRM records
- Coordinate venues, hotels, suppliers, orders, and printed materials
- Onboard speakers and track bios, headshots, slides, and preparation
- Manage registration, event days, volunteers, and venue teams
Requirements:
- Three or more years of event or conference management experience
- Experience with B2B events is ideally preferred
- Strong project management and milestone-tracking skills
- Excellent written, verbal, relationship-building, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple events independently with meticulous attention
