The Winnipeg Public Library is currently recruiting two local makers to act asMakers-in-Residencefor our 2027 terms. There are two residency opportunities available that will run for 18 weeks out of the ideaMILL on the 3 rd floor of the Millennium Library, the term dates are:
Term 1: mid-February to mid-June
Term 2: mid-August to mid-December
During their residency, each maker will:
- Offer weekly, scheduled drop-inhours inthe ideaMILL that allow them to create and share their skills on-site with library visitors
Create and deliver 5 workshops at branch libraries teaching their skillset to participants
Each maker will receive a stipend of $16,000 and a budget of up to $2,500 for supplies.
