As Principal, Sustainable Energies & Infrastructure Credit, you will originate, underwrite, execute, and manage credit investments. The role spans renewable energy, infrastructure, and conventional energy markets. You will shape transaction outcomes, develop investment committee recommendations, and contribute to SEIC strategy development. Key Responsibilities:
Lead underwriting, execution, monitoring, and investment committee processes Originate opportunities and cultivate sponsor and market relationships Assess credit risk, pricing, structure, covenants, and downside protections Direct financial models, scenarios, debt sizing, and liquidity analyses Present investment conclusions, risks, and mitigants to committees Requirements:
Relevant undergraduate or advanced degree; CFA designation is an asset Eight-plus years of relevant investment or credit experience Significant North American energy or infrastructure experience Experience originating, underwriting, structuring, and executing large-scale credit investments Strong judgment, ownership mindset, and relationship-building skills Bring credit-led investment expertise, rigorous analysis, and collaborative leadership to CPP Investments’ Sustainable Energies & Infrastructure Credit strategy.
