Accountable to the CFO for providing strategic financial information through the SaskTel Holdco five-year financial planning process, leading the development of the SaskTel Telco five-year financial plan together with the necessary controls and procedures to effectuate the plan. Accountable to work closely with all departments to facilitate planning, budgeting and forecasting.
Skills
- Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
- Strong financial background in a managerial environment.
- Several years’ experience dealing with corporate accounting, financial reporting, capital and operating budget processes within a holding company environment.
- Ability and commitment to sharing appropriate information with internal and external bodies.
- Solid comprehension of accounting theory and principles and ability to apply to new and existing processes.
- Understanding of international differences in IFRS and the impact on consolidated financial statement reporting is essential.
