Support HRIS accuracy, payroll, and benefits as a People Operations Generalist with Covenant House Toronto in hybrid Downtown Toronto.
This permanent, full-time Level 7 role supports finance, payroll, operations, and youth-facing teams. You will maintain core HR processes, strengthen data integrity, and provide employee education on benefits, entitlements, and systems. The position also supports compliance, reporting, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee records, contracts, changes, and personnel files
- Administer Group Health and RRSP benefits enrollment
- Audit payroll and benefits administration processes
- Maintain HRIS data and generate leadership reports
- Support performance, offboarding, and employee relations processes
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Three to five-plus years of HR operations experience
- Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms, including Payworks
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting proficiency
- Strong accuracy, confidentiality, analytical, and organizational skills
