As a Road Transport Team Dispatch Coordinator, you will manage daily truck dispatching for ocean containers. The full-time position works 37.5 hours weekly and reports to the Senior Manager of RTT Department. Support Westbound MLB planning, Eastbound cargo backup, and accurate job order execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily Westbound MLB dispatch activities
- Dispatch containers and release trucking provider job orders
- Track container movements and provide cargo status updates
- Monitor availability, customs clearance, release, and pickup readiness
- Communicate with trucking partners about timely container movement
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience
- One to three years of logistics or transportation experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility for varying hours and statutory holidays
