Lead facilities, capital infrastructure, and asset management for Hastings County in a permanent full-time, on-site senior leadership position. Guide major municipal assets. The Director reports to the Chief Administrative Officer and serves on the County’s senior management team. This leader oversees planning, operations, maintenance, renewal, and capital investments across County-owned and leased facilities. Key work includes asset management, lease administration, budgeting, infrastructure renewal, and project delivery. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the County’s Asset Management Plan development and implementation Direct facilities operations, maintenance, renewal, and capital delivery Prepare reports for Committee, Council, and the Chief Administrative Officer Manage facilities capital budgets and maintain annual cost control Oversee leases, occupancy, trails, tenders, and building projects Requirements:
Related four-year university degree or equivalent leadership experience Ten years’ facilities operations and construction project management experience Five years’ financial and infrastructure asset management experience Five years’ supervisory experience and valid G licence Knowledge of legislation, technical drawings, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Bring municipal facilities leadership, capital project expertise, and asset management experience to Hastings County’s senior management team.
