Restaurant Manager in Kelowna

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the front-of-house operations of a luxury resort dining venue in Kelowna. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality leader to oversee a range of dining experiences, including fine dining, a lounge, seasonal outdoor dining and a boardwalk setting.

The Role

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations, ensuring consistently high service standards and an exceptional guest experience.
• Lead, develop and motivate managers, supervisors and service teams.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance reviews and team development.
• Monitor budgets, revenue, labour costs, product costs and overall financial performance.
• Oversee beverage menus, pricing, costing, promotions and upselling initiatives.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, ordering, stock rotation and loss prevention.
• Work closely with culinary, events and other resort departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain health, safety, food safety and liquor service standards.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 4 years of restaurant management experience, ideally within a full-service restaurant, hotel, resort or elevated dining environment.
• Proven experience leading and developing front-of-house teams.
• Strong understanding of financial performance, labour management, inventory and cost controls.
• Experience with POS, reservations and inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, holidays and seasonal peak periods.
• Serving It Right certification required; FoodSafe, First Aid or WSET qualifications are an asset.
