Facilities Building Operators are needed at Convergint for their Suncor Firebag In-Situ site in Fort Mc Murrray, Alberta.
This FIFO 14/14 rotation role involves maintaining and operating building systems, ensuring safety and compliance, and providing excellent service to clients and colleagues.
The ideal candidate is a certified 4th Class Power Engineer with strong building operations experience and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

- What You’ll Need
- Completion of 4th Class Power Engineering certificate from an accredited Canadian Institution
- Registered as a 4th Class Power Engineer with ABSA
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial and/or industrial Building Operator experience
- Experience isolating/de-isolating mechanical piping components for heating, cooling and utility systems
- Experience operating building systems, including heating plants
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and understand building floor plans and design drawings
- Strong understanding of OHS regulations and procedures
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks with minimal direction
- Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision
- Completion of OSSA Basic Safety Orientation or Common Safety Orientation required
