Overhead Crane Technicians - Suncor - 14/14 - FIFO + Accommodations Provided - AB, BC, SK, MB, NB, NS
Convergint is seeking Overhead Crane Technicians to join their team at the Suncor site in Fort Mc Murray, Alberta.
This role involves performing inspections, repairs, and maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists, and commercial overhead doors.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, self-motivated, and comfortable working at heights, with a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.

- What You'll Need
- Valid and clean driver's license
- Ability to travel to and work on jobsites
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of building operations and maintenance
- Ability to read and understand building floor plans and design drawings
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks with minimal direction
- Flexibility to respond to emergencies and rapidly changing needs
- Strong understanding of OHS regulations and procedures
- Must be comfortable working at heights over 120ft (ladders, scaffolds, and lifts)
- Experience with power tools
- Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada
- What Will Make You Stand Out
- Journeyman Electrician certification preferred
- Overhead door experience an asset
- Rope access certificate an asset
