We seek enthusiastic students for our summer 2027 season, focusing on Silviculture and Forestry Development. Students will engage in various projects including forestry development, environmental monitoring, and resource management. Flexibility in work locations and the opportunity to explore other areas within our multidisciplinary consulting firm are also offered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct forestry development mapping and layout activities
- Perform silviculture surveys and quality assessments
- Monitor field observations and environmental sampling
- Assist in field documentation across various projects
- Prepare detailed field notes and data summaries
Requirements:
- Enrolled in forestry or environmental science programs
- Strong interest in outdoor fieldwork and land stewardship
- Positive attitude, good communication, and teamwork skills
- Valid BC driver's license and basic computer skills
- Previous field experience or 4x4 truck operation is an asset
