This Engineering Designer role supports complex transportation projects through technical design leadership and engineering judgment. Consor needs someone experienced in Texas transportation engineering design, with knowledge of roadway, multimodal, and intersection work. You will help deliver constructible plans while coordinating with project engineers, managers, and junior designers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed plans, specifications, and transportation cost estimates
- Complete advanced calculations for roadway and intersection designs
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities across project teams
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers
- Assist with quality control, schedules, and deliverables
Requirements:
- Civil engineering Bachelor of Science degree
- Two-plus years of Texas transportation engineering design experience
- Engineer in Training certification
- Experience using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer
- Valid Ontario driver's licence required
