This analyst supports environmental and engineering consulting projects across municipal infrastructure, mining, energy, and land development. The work includes GIS analysis, spatial modelling, mapping, technical reporting, and geospatial support. Projects may involve ecology, hydrology, hydrogeology, archaeology, stormwater, and regulatory approvals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide GIS support for environmental and engineering projects
- Develop maps, web maps, dashboards, and story maps
- Manage geodatabases, spatial data, and collection systems
- Analyze LiDAR, imagery, terrain, watershed, and infrastructure datasets
- Contribute to reports, proposals, presentations, and client deliverables
Requirements:
- Five-plus years of consulting or related industry experience
- Diploma or degree in GIS, geography, engineering technology, or related discipline
- Strong proficiency with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and mobile applications
- Knowledge of coordinate systems, spatial databases, metadata, and data management
- Experience with field workflows, remote sensing, or GIS automation tools
