About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Client Care and Operations to lead operational excellence across clinical and administrative functions and advance organizational priorities across multiple sites. The role is accountable for areas including finance, human resources, information technology, strategy and innovation, purchasing, and facilities. The Vice President will support safe, high-quality care, regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, business continuity, and continuous improvement, while aligning teams around shared goals and responsible technology use. The position also involves building relationships with clients, families, staff, healthcare and community partners, government representatives, and sector leaders, and supporting major development initiatives.
Candidates should bring at least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in a complex, multi-site healthcare, community-based, developmental services, or related nonprofit setting, including at least five years in clinical leadership overseeing multiple programs and interprofessional teams. A master’s degree in a related field is required, and a regulated health professional background is an asset. The ideal candidate combines clinical credibility, financial acumen, strategic and change leadership, and experience guiding growth and innovative care models; experience with non-clinical functions is desirable. Experience in unionized environments, workforce planning, and labour relations is also valued, along with strong communication, relationship-building, and collaborative leadership skills and a commitment to equity, inclusion, accessibility, and anti-racism.
