The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, as well as overseeing regulatory financial reporting to ensure compliance.
This hands-on position demands a leader who can manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial controls, and tax, while also partnering with the Canadian CEO and COO on strategic financial and commercial decisions. The CFO will be the key point of contact for financial reporting and insights to the Group Finance and international leadership, and will also be involved in presenting financial information to senior leadership, the Board, and regulators.
Applicants for the CFO role at the company must hold a CPA designation and have a minimum of 7 years' progressive finance and accounting experience, with a strong technical background in accounting and financial reporting. Experience in regulatory reporting, particularly within an investment dealer, capital markets, financial services, or fintech environment, is essential, and public company experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have already completed the required CFO and PDO regulatory examinations.
