Established healthcare organization committed to improving health outcomes.

The Company is in search of dedicated physician members to fill two national leadership positions on its Board of Directors, one from Alberta and one from British Columbia, as well as an Annual General Meeting (AGM) Chair to preside over the AGMs starting in 2028. The ideal candidates for the Board Director roles are civic-minded individuals with a passion for enhancing healthcare in Canada. They should possess sound judgment, a strategic perspective, and the ability to engage in complex governance discussions. Experience in areas such as accounting, financial management, human resources, or information technology, including AI and cybersecurity, is particularly valued. Candidates must be members of the company, have their primary residence in the respective province, and be willing to serve two consecutive three-year terms.

The AGM Chair, a role open to physician members from anywhere in Canada, will be responsible for overseeing the business meeting, managing procedural rules, and ensuring a respectful and orderly environment. The successful candidate will be poised, confident, and experienced in chairing formal meetings, with the ability to handle politically sensitive situations and maintain order with a calm and approachable demeanor. Bilingualism is preferred for this position. Both roles require individuals who are effective communicators, relationship builders, and who can demonstrate a fair and unbiased approach, with respect for diverse perspectives. Familiarity with the company and its subsidiary structure is an asset, and the company encourages applications that reflect the diversity of the Canadian physician population.
