This temporary 0.30 FTE position serves as an Online Learning Generalist Teacher with Navigate/NIDES. You will teach multi-age groups, develop online curriculum, and support learning in classrooms, learning centers, tutorials, and a Comox Valley School. The work includes online and face-to-face collaboration with students, colleagues, and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage online courses, assignments, assessments, and resources
- Provide personalized online learning for Grade 5-9 students
- Offer tutorial support online and in person
- Support course adaptations and I.E.P.s
- Develop blended instruction and maintain advanced online curriculum
Requirements:
- Ability to teach multi-age students province wide
- Experience using diverse instructional technology meaningfully
- Familiarity with Brightspace or equivalent learning systems
- Ability to use MyEd, Seesaw, Mathletics, and Learning A-Z
- Ability to use Zoom and Teams
