This temporary 0.80 FTE position teaches New Media 10 and English Studies 12. The successful candidate designs online secondary English instruction, maintains learning management systems, and supports blended learning. Work includes collaboration with students, colleagues, and parents, plus tutorials and classroom support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized online learning courses using diverse instructional technology
- Teach New Media 10 and English Studies 12
- Develop and maintain advanced online curriculum
- Support blended instruction in classrooms and learning centers
- Provide tutorials and support students online and in person
Requirements:
- Certification or direct experience teaching in online learning environments
- English design and instruction experience at secondary school level
- Training or experience in adult education
- Advanced learning management system classroom maintenance skills
- Ability to support course adaptations and I.E.P.s
