Community Futures Middlesex is hiring an advisor to support entrepreneurs and small businesses across rural Middlesex County. You will evaluate loan applications, analyze financial statements and cash flow, and prepare recommendations for the Loans Committee. The position also includes business coaching and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate business loan applications through the full lending process
- Analyze financial statements and cash flow
- Prepare lending recommendations for the Loans Committee
- Provide one-on-one business coaching to entrepreneurs
- Manage an existing loan portfolio and partner relationships
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in business, finance, accounting, or related field
- At least three years of commercial or small business lending experience
- Experience in credit analysis or business advisory services
- Strong financial analysis and relationship-building skills
- Government-supported lending experience or Middlesex County knowledge assets
