Job Summary: Join a dynamic team at CST as a Watch Officer within the Canadian Special Operations Centre (CANSOC), which operates 24/7. Be part of a dedicated group monitoring intelligence reports, global events, and ongoing activities, ready to respond to emerging crises and national security threats.
As part of the Signals Intelligence Coordination and Operations Office (BOCS) at CANSOC, Watch Officers work together to provide situational awareness 24/7 to senior management and the agency as a whole. They ensure and coordinate the first line of response to emerging issues.
CANSOC is looking for highly autonomous individuals who demonstrate strong initiative and good judgment. We need Watch Officers who have a passion for geopolitics and current affairs, enjoy problem-solving, and can react quickly and effectively to various situations.
Selection Zone: Open to individuals with Canadian citizenship.
Location: Ottawa, Ontario. All positions require full-time on-site presence at our Edward Drake building.
Conditions of Employment: You must have a Top Secret security clearance (TSA) to work at CST. This condition must be met before we can make a job offer. Since this is a shift work position supporting CST's operational activities 24/7, being able to work shifts and overtime, and being available as needed is a condition of employment.
