We are seeking a Security Guard to join our team at an Intermediate First Aid/OFA 2 site in Richmond.
You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of the property while providing excellent customer service to our clients.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday 7am till 3pm
- Payrate: $26.50/hour
Some of your responsibilities include
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring a positive experience.
- Provide access control and issue passes as required.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property and grounds, on foot.
- Monitor and safeguard people, property, buildings, and equipment.
- Actively monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.
- Serve as a first responder in emergencies, providing immediate First Aid to employees.
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate parties.
- Report incidents to the Site Lead and submit detailed investigation reports.
Your Must-Haves
- Valid BC Security License.
- Intermediate First Aid/OFA 2 certification.
- Have lived in Canada for the last 5 or more years for clearance eligibility
- Experience with CCTV and access control systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
