Portuguese-speaking Personal Support Worker needed in Milton, Ontario, providing personal care and daily household assistance. Support safe mobility, meals, companionship, and respite.
This Caregiver / PSW role supports a client with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, incontinence care, and meal preparation. You will follow the care plan for mobility, ambulation, range-of-motion exercises, and medication reminders. Household support includes light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, linens, and bathroom cleaning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, shampooing, and oral hygiene
- Support safe mobility, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises
- Provide incontinence care and basic skin care
- Plan and prepare meals for the client
- Offer companionship, respite, and light household support
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Portuguese speaking ability required; Spanish is an asset
- Successful PSW/HHA skills assessment completion
- Successful DEARS Drugs and Ethics test completion
- English communication and reliable transportation for the job
