Prepare institutional-level financial statements for Colonnade BridgePort's assigned property portfolio, using advanced Excel and precise accounting practices. Work with property teams and owners.
Reporting to a Property Accounting Supervisor, the Property Accountant plans and implements financial accounting for designated properties. The position covers monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, budgets, audits, tenant charges, recoveries, and portfolio cashflow. Yardi 7s experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual property financial statements
- Coordinate annual operating budgets with teams, owners, and asset managers
- Prepare year-end working files for annual audits
- Calculate monthly and annual CAM and tax recoveries
- Monitor portfolio Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and cashflow
Requirements:
- Three to five years of relevant accounting experience
- Property Accounting experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Excel
- Experience using Yardi 7s preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and accuracy skills
