Apply electrical engineering expertise in Grande Prairie with Tetranex Solutions, focusing on industrial power systems and equipment specification. This is a full-time position. As an Intermediate/Senior Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with the Grande Prairie team and Calgary engineering group. The work includes electrical equipment selection, power system studies, and industrial project delivery. You will report to an Electrical Engineering Manager in Calgary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specify electrical equipment, including switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, and generators
- Prepare load lists, equipment lists, and sizing calculations
- Perform short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and harmonic studies
- Produce medium and low voltage single line diagrams
- Lead electrical scopes across multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering degree and approximately five to fifteen years’ EPC experience
- APEGA Registered Professional Engineer designation
- Industrial electrical systems and electrical studies experience
- Ability to use ETAP and SKM Power Tools
- Strong English communication, organization, and decision-making skills
- Bring industrial electrical systems knowledge, study capabilities, and equipment expertise to Tetranex Solutions projects in Grande Prairie.
