Job Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the growth of the organization by leading and mentoring other team members and sharing your expertise with a broad audience.
- Be a technical leader who demonstrates excellence.
- Identify requirements, design and implement generic solutions.
- Diagnose, debug and fix critical issues and defects.
- Write technical specifications, design and test integration documents.
- Work with global cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software development experience with strong working knowledge of design principles including abstraction, inheritance, and system decomposition.
- A team player with a solid work ethic and a reputation for delivering high quality solutions.
- Strong C programming skills in a Linux environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and an aptitude for solving abstract problems.
- Experience with automated testing and commitment to test driven software.
- Solid understanding of the data networking industry including LAN/WAN and network layer protocols.
Additional Desired Skills/Experience:
- OAM technologies (i.e. NETCONF/SNMP/Statistics and Performance Management/Network and Element management).
- Model driven solutions.
- Experience Agile practitioner.
- API framework definition and standardization.
- Networking and IP protocols.
Education Requirements:
BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required.
