As a Senior Associate on Coinbase Canada's Compliance team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the compliance program under FINTRAC guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Own AML/ATF compliance reporting, ensuring timely submissions to FINTRAC
- Manage compliance cases, providing guidance on escalations and high-risk matters
- Track FINTRAC announcements and provide actionable compliance updates
- Coordinate RFIs and support documentation extraction for fiat partners
- Lead automation initiatives to streamline KYC and compliance reporting processes
Requirements:
- 5+ years financial crimes compliance experience in financial services
- Deep knowledge of Canadian compliance regulations including FINTRAC
- Proven track record in managing compliance cases and regulatory filings
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency transaction flows and monitoring
