Cogir Senior Living manages independent living, assisted living, and memory care residences across the country. As an RPN, you provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care under provincial standards. You also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, residents, families, and unregulated care providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care
- Build trusted relationships through continuous, effective communication
- Implement and evaluate care plan effectiveness
- Complete accurate clinical assessments, care plans, and documentation
- Teach, delegate, direct, coach, and mentor unregulated care providers
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
- Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge
- Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers preferred
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
- Strong communication, critical thinking, organizational, and computer skills
