As a Registered Practical Nurse, you provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care under provincial standards. You also collaborate with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care
- Implement and evaluate resident care plans
- Complete accurate, current clinical assessments and documentation
- Communicate resident changes to relevant teams
- Teach, delegate, direct, and mentor unregulated care providers
Requirements:
- Current provincial registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
- Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge
- Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers preferred
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
- Strong written, oral communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
