As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will deliver planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed care according to provincial standards. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, build trusted relationships, and support residents, families, and colleagues through ongoing communication. Your practice will include clinical assessments, care plans, documentation, and guidance for unregulated care providers. Experience with seniors is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide planned nursing care according to provincial standards
- Implement and evaluate resident care plans
- Complete accurate clinical assessments and documentation
- Communicate resident changes to families and teams
- Coach and mentor unregulated care providers
Requirements:
- Current provincial registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge and critical thinking
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
