Reporting to the Director of Care, this Registered Nurse delivers care within independent living, assisted living, and memory care settings. The position requires resident assessment, care planning, medication management, and communication with families and interdisciplinary teams. It also supports regulatory and company health and wellness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete resident assessments, service plans, and care documentation
- Administer medications and safely manage drugs and narcotics
- Coordinate resident care plans with interdisciplinary providers
- Respond to significant condition changes and medical emergencies
- Supervise and delegate care to unregulated care providers
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse registration in the applicable Province or State
- Experience working with seniors and unregulated care providers
- Strong clinical knowledge and delegation ability
- Critical thinking, communication, coordination, and time management skills
- Current Vulnerable Position or Sector Screening within six months
