Manager, Business Applications in Montréal

Here's a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you'll have:

• Act as the Product Owner of a SaaS platform portfolio and ensure its evolution;
• Define and maintain platform roadmaps based on business needs and organizational priorities;
• Manage requests for new projects and applications by collecting, documenting, and prioritizing needs and requirements;
• Establish and enforce application governance practices, including access control, data integrity, and change management;
• Provide technical and functional support to users and solve problems;
• Maintain centralized, up-to-date and accessible technical and vendor documentation;
• Lead negotiations with vendors regarding pricing, service levels, and contract terms;
• Follow up on contract renewals according to budgets and business needs;
• Maintain relationships with vendors, evaluate the quality of services and manage escalations when required;
• Perform a technology watch in order to optimize the application portfolio and reduce the risks related to suppliers;
• Supervise the resources responsible for business applications as well as the assigned teams;
• Support team members through coaching, mentoring and professional development;
• Implement responsibility and accountability models to clarify roles within teams;
• Foster a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement;
• Generate analytics and reports from application data to support business activities and decision-making;
• Support stakeholders by turning reporting needs into actionable solutions and deliverables.

The profile we are looking for is as follows:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, management information systems, business administration or a related field;
• Have five to eight years of experience in business application management, including at least two years as a Product Owner, Platform Owner or Application Manager for a SaaS portfolio;
• Master business analysis, including requirements gathering and process mapping;
• Demonstrate experience in CRM and ERP platform administration;
• Knowledge of DealCloud, Allvue, iLevel or NetSuite platforms (an asset);
• Experience negotiating with vendors, managing contracts, and tracking service levels;
• Experience in team management, including supporting internal resources and coordinating outsourced or offshore teams;
• Master application governance practices, including access management, data integrity, change management, and integration tools such as Workato;
• Develop and maintain rigorous documentation of technical and supplier information;
• Possess the ability to translate business needs into analyses, reports and deliverables for senior-level stakeholders;
• Knowledge of financial, regulated or professional services environments (an asset);
• Fluent in French and English, both oral and written.
