Job description

• Analyze business needs and write functional and technical specifications;
• Design, develop and maintain web and software applications covering both front-end and back-end panes;
• Participate in the definition of the solution architecture;
• Develop and integrate APIs and data exchange services;
• Ensure database management and optimization;
• Perform unit, integration and acceptance tests, and correct any anomalies;
• Maintain and evolve existing applications;
• Collaborate with analysts, architecture consultants, UX/UI specialists and other stakeholders;
• Document solutions and ensure knowledge transfer;
• Participate in continuous integration and continuous delivery DevOps deployments and practices.

The profile you are looking for is as follows:

• Have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in full stack development;
• Be proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript front-end technologies as well as a framework such as Angular, React or Vue.js;
• Possess proficiency in back-end technologies such as .NET, Java, Node.js or equivalent technology;
• Have experience in systems integration and REST and SOAP API development;
• Know Agile ways of working and the software development lifecycle (SDLC);
• Understand monolithic and microservices application architectures;
• Use DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines;
• Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps;
• Be proficient in databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL or MongoDB;
• Use Git for source code management;
• Know the principles of application security and data protection;
• Experience in the public or municipal sector;
• Knowledge of Azure cloud environments is an asset.
