The company’s products include Grammarly’s writing assistance, Superhuman Docs's collaborative workspaces, Mail’s inbox management, and Go, the proactive AI assistant that understands context and delivers help automatically. The suite now also includes GPTZero, a leading AI content detection and authenticity platform. Founded in 2009, Superhuman empowers over 40 million people, 50,000 organizations, and 3,000 educational institutions worldwide to eliminate busywork and focus on what matters.

The Opportunity: As a Senior Product Manager, you will own products that millions of educators, students, journalists, and writers rely on to preserve authenticity. You'll work at the intersection of product, ML research, and design - translating model capabilities and their limits into experiences people can trust. This role is ideal for someone who has owned B2C or prosumer products end-to-end; you'll have the opportunity to define how discovery, prioritization, and shipping work, and most importantly, to shape a category that is still being written.

In this role, you will:

  • Own discovery end-to-end, identifying and validating user problems through research, data analysis, and direct conversations with our different user personas.
  • Define product requirements and success metrics in close partnership with design, engineering, and ML.
  • Drive execution from concept to launch, then iterate based on user feedback and usage data to improve the experience.
  • Build the product process from scratch and set the standard for how product gets done at Superhuman.
  • Design and run a rigorous experimentation program - form hypotheses, define metrics, ship tests, and iterate based on results.
  • Oversee day-to-day development and delivery, partnering with engineering and design to keep work on track and ensure milestones are met on time.

Qualifications:

  • Strong product judgment with 4+ years of experience owning B2C/prosumer products end to end.
  • Comfortable building structure that meaningfully improves outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of AI-powered products, including model limitations, tradeoffs, and user trust implications.
  • Strong collaboration skills with designers, engineers, and researchers to drive alignment and execution.
  • High ownership mindset with a bias toward action, learning, and iteration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance, proactively manage tasks and priorities across multiple projects, analyze and execute work efficiently, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and thrive in fast-paced, results-driven environments.

Bonus:

  • Experience as an early or first PM at a startup.
  • Experience working closely with ML or research teams.

Compensation and Benefits: Superhuman offers all team members competitive pay along with a benefits package encompassing the following and more:

  • Excellent health care (including a wide range of medical, dental, vision, mental health, and fertility benefits).
  • Disability and life insurance options.
  • 401(k) and RRSP matching.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • 20 days of paid time off per year, 12 days of paid holidays per year, two floating holidays per year, and flexible sick time.
  • Generous stipends (including those for caregiving, pet care, wellness, your home office, and more).
  • Annual professional development budget and opportunities.
