As a Senior Product Specialist, you will support the PL Product Portfolio through product design, underwriting rules, and policy wordings. You will guide initiatives affecting products, profitability, and policy administration systems. English is required, while French is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and author underwriting rules and risk selection guidelines
- Monitor regulatory, legislative, claims, and industry developments
- Design products and oversee policy wordings and forms
- Provide subject matter expertise to project teams
- Analyze portfolio issues and quantify potential solutions
Requirements:
- Minimum five years successful personal lines underwriting experience preferred
- CIP or FCIP designation in Underwriting or Risk Management preferred
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Expert knowledge of personal lines products and policy wordings
- Knowledge of Insurance Acts and provincial requirements
