Shape Snowflake architecture and advanced data engineering at Cloudbeds as a fully remote technical leader for a global hospitality platform. As Tech Lead Data Engineer and Data Architect, you will guide architecture, modeling, governance, and platform evolution. You will work with Snowflake, dbt, Matillion, and Sigma while supporting Analytical Engineers and collaborating with Engineering, Infrastructure, Data Science, ML, and business stakeholders. Your work will strengthen a reliable, scalable, business-ready data ecosystem. Key Responsibilities:
Own logical and physical data modeling across data products and marts Design ingestion, integrations, ELT, ETL, and pipeline orchestration Embed automated testing and deployment standards into data workflows Develop governance, observability, lineage, freshness, and failure alerting Optimize Snowflake performance, clustering, warehouse sizing, and costs Requirements:
Senior experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or Tech Lead Deep hands-on expertise administering, tuning, and modeling in Snowflake Advanced dbt, analytical SQL, and Python proficiency Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and credential rotation Business-level English and remote collaboration experience Bring Snowflake architecture, dbt mastery, Python, and technical influence to Cloudbeds’ remote data analytics team.
