This position supports children and youth through daily activities, skill development, school assistance, and safety-focused care. Relief Staff work with professional teams, participate in meetings and supervision, and implement predetermined treatment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist children and youth with daily activities and routines
- Maintain structured settings and promote high levels of supervision
- Foster skill development and support safe community living
- Manage crises and assist with school
- Respond to shift coverage requests and accept three monthly shifts
Requirements:
- Related diploma or degree preferred; education and experience considered
- Experience supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families is an asset
- Knowledge supporting children and youth with challenging behaviours
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Class 5 Alberta licence, personal vehicle, and clean three-year abstract
