Closer To Home Community Services seeks Relief Staff for Community Group Home and Residential Program support. You will work with professionals to foster skill development, maintain safety, assist with school, and implement treatment strategies. Education and experience combinations are considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children's and youths' daily activities and routines
- Maintain structured settings and foster relevant skill development
- Manage crises and provide high levels of supervision
- Assist with school and implement predetermined treatment strategies
- Respond to shift requests and accept three monthly shifts
Requirements:
- Related diploma or degree preferred, or equivalent education and experience
- Experience supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families is an asset
- Knowledge supporting challenging behaviours and therapeutic crisis management
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Class 5 Alberta licence, personal vehicle, and required insurance
