Join us as we revolutionize the industry and make amazing workplaces accessible to more companies!
This is a hands‑on role. As Marketing Manager, you will continue to build our marketing systems and grow Clearspace's marketing into a best‑in‑class function in the built environment. You report directly to the CEO and work closely with our design, project, and sales teams. You will strengthen what is working, raise the standard across brand, website, content, and proposals, and document the systems so the whole team can use them.
We use AI and modern tools to do more with a small team. You will ensure Clearspace is found and accurately represented wherever clients look, including search, social, and the AI tools they increasingly use to find a design‑build partner.
What You'll Do
- Brand
- Own the Clearspace brand across every client touchpoint: website, proposals, presentations, social, and sales material.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines for messaging, voice, and visuals so the team can apply them consistently.
- Sharpen our positioning and messaging for the clients we serve: occupiers, owners, property managers, and brokers.
- Keep our materials consistent and on brand, and fix what isn't.
- Website & Digital
- Own clearspace.to, including content, structure, performance, and lead capture.
- Own SEO and optimization for AI agents and answer engines, so Clearspace is found and accurately represented in search results and AI-generated answers.
- Keep structured data, project pages, and site content current and easy for both people and machines to read.
- Manage our social presence, starting with LinkedIn.
- Track and report search and AI visibility, and adjust based on what the data shows.
- Content & Campaigns
- Plan and produce content that builds authority: project case studies, articles, social posts, and sales enablement material.
- Run the content calendar and the campaigns behind it, such as project completions and case study launches.
- Run existing-client engagement, including an email newsletter and a testimonial process that captures client feedback at project closeout.
- Set the content standard and the process so designers, project managers, and leadership can contribute.
- Marketing Systems
- Continue to build and run the end‑to‑end marketing system: planning, content pipeline, campaign calendar, lead capture, and reporting.
- Select, set up, and automate the tools behind each part, including AI tools, and teach the team to use them.
- Document the system so the team can use it consistently.
- Define and report the metrics that show whether marketing is working, and adjust based on results.
- Proposals
- Review proposals and pitch materials for brand, messaging, and consistency before they go to clients.
- Support the proposal team with templates, tools, and reusable content such as project profiles, team bios, and case studies, so proposals are faster to build.
- You do not write proposals. You make the people who write them more effective.
Requirements
- 5+ years of marketing experience, ideally in professional services, interior design, construction, commercial real estate, or a related B2B industry.
- A record of building marketing systems, not only running campaigns: the processes, tools, and automation that others use.
- Strong brand and content skills, with writing that holds up in front of clients.
- Comfort with AI design tools. You can produce polished material without a designer.
- An analytical approach. You measure, report, and adjust.
- Self‑direction and strong organization. You set priorities, deliver, and bring the team along.
- Knowledge of the commercial interiors industry and its competitive landscape is an asset.
