This role involves conducting pre-admission assessments, coordinating diagnostics, and overseeing post-operative recovery. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-admission assessments and medication reconciliation
- Admit and prepare patients for surgical procedures
- Monitor and assess patients in the recovery phase
- Administer medications as per physician orders
- Provide patient discharge education and follow-up instructions
Requirements:
- Current valid LPN registration
- BLS certification; ACLS is beneficial
- Minimum one year in acute care nursing
- Preferred experience in pre-admission or post-operative settings
